Jeremy is the Head of EU Policy, Senior Director of European Government Affairs, in Microsoft’s Corporate, External & Legal Affairs (CELA) group. He works in Brussels, where he leads Microsoft’s EU policy team that engages across all policies that affect regulatory and legal frameworks for digital, cloud, and increasingly AI development and take-up for Microsoft’s customers in Europe.

He has a background and subject matter expertise on EU data policy (data protection, IP/copyright, data sharing, law enforcement access), and he has led and managed public policy campaigns and stakeholder engagements related to AI, privacy, cybersecurity, cloud, intellectual property and copyright.

Before joining Microsoft, he was part of the Government Relations team at Nokia in Brussels and was previously Director of the online services association Dot.Europe. He has almost 20 years of experience in Brussels at the company, association, and consultancy levels, engaging with EU stakeholders and regulators on issues related to the development and delivery of digital technologies and services in the Internal Market.

His focus is increasingly now on support for Microsoft customers’ twin transition journeys across different sectors and the takeup and rollout of Responsible AI solutions in Europe.

Dr. Alžběta Solarczyk Krausová is Head of the Center for Innovations and Cyberlaw Research (CICeRo) at the Institute of State and Law of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Chair of the Czech Republic’s AI Observatory & Forum, a founder and Chair of the SOLAIR Conference (Society, Law, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics), an external lecturer at the Charles University in Prague, and a member of the Appeal Commission at the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic.

She is also the founder and CEO of Respectful AI. She has acted as a member of the Expert Group on Liability and New Technologies at the European Commission, a member of OECD’s network of experts ONE AI, and a Czech expert in negotiating the UNESCO’s Draft Recommendation on Ethics of AI. She co-founded the platform Czech Women in AI.

Her research focuses on ethical and legal aspects of artificial intelligence, robotics, brain-computer interfaces, and merging technology with organic life.

Adeline Pelletier is part of the data strategy and management team at Mastercard, based in Tel Aviv. She leads methodological research work on AI fairness and its implementation inside the company and is also responsible for external AI research partnerships. In addition, she contributes to the development of enterprise strategy for Generative AI, including the definition of risk mitigation framework for generative AI solutions and the delivery of enabling infrastructure and tools.

Prior to this role she has held various positions as an Economist in the banking industry in the U.K. and was an Associate Professor at the University of London.

She holds a PhD in Business Economics from the London School of Economics and a MPhil in Development Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Oded Zinman is a Senior Research Scientist at eBay, specializing in AI and machine learning, with a particular focus on NLP applications in e-commerce.

He holds an MSc and a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben-Gurion University, with a specialization in Applied Statistics.

Dr. Nancy Yacovzada is a senior medical data scientist, passionate about leveraging AI for biomedical advancements.

She completed her Ph.D. at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where she developed multi-omics and electronic health record-based models for studying treatment response, diagnosis, and prognosis.

With extensive experience leading data science and software teams in both academia and industry, including her role as a associate director at Teva Pharmaceuticals, Nancy has a proven track record in developing cutting-edge algorithms for diverse healthcare applications, including digital clinical trials, biomarkers discovery, and software as a medical device. Her expertise spans machine learning, deep learning for computer vision, molecular multi-omics, electronic health records, and causality.

Ronit Bustin received a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2004 and 2006, respectively, from Tel-Aviv University, Israel. She received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2013 from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa.

From 2013 to 2015 she was a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University. During 2015-2016 she was a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University. During 2016-2017 she was a post-doctoral research associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technion.

She currently holds a research position in General Motors R&D - Technical Center in Israel. She is a co-organizer of the infoCog workshop in NeurIPS 2023. 

Carole Nuriel has been working with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for 22 years. Prior to assuming her current position as Senior Regional Director, Israel and MENA Countries, Carole was ADL's Senior Middle Eastern Affairs Analyst with 24 years of experience in this field, focusing on manifestations of antisemitism in Middle Eastern media outlets. In her current position Carole is focused on promoting ADL’s programming, advocacy and partnerships in the Middle East Israel including advancing social cohesion in Israeli society, raising awareness to antisemitism working with ADL's partners in the region.

Carole served in the Israel Defense Force's Intelligence Corps during her compulsory service. Later she worked for the Israel Broadcasting Authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Shalem Center. Carole holds a BA in Arabic language and literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MA in Arabic language and literature (majoring in classic Arabic language). She speaks Hebrew, French, Arabic, English and Spanish. Carole is married with three children.

Gony Rosenman is a PhD candidate at the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University. He holds a BSc in Physics from Hebrew University and an MSc with distinction in Computational Neuroscience from Tel Aviv University. Gony's research focuses on data-driven psychiatry, pioneering the use of transformers for fMRI prediction tasks, and developing a novel subject-triplet loss function inspired by fMRI connectivity fingerprints. His current work investigates the potential of large language models in psychiatry, including efforts to develop chatbots that could assist in diagnosing depression and PTSD.

Gilit is an experienced fraud-fighting and product leader with over two decades in the field. She is the co-author of "Practical Fraud Prevention" published by O'Reilly, and the co-chair of the annual FraudCon conference at Tel Aviv University's CyberWeek. She has also contributed to the "Fintech Fraud" courses of the MBA program as a former lecturer and writer.

Starting her career at Fraud Sciences, a startup renowned for pioneering innovative accuracy in online fraud prevention, Gilit has led and trained over 100 fraud analysts, data scientists and researchers at PayPal, Forter, Simplex, and now at DoubleVerify.

In addition to her professional roles, Gilit supports several fraud-fighting and women in tech communities. She co-hosts the Israeli Fraud Fighters meetup series and previously led the Israeli branch of RiskSalon.org, a roundtable forum for risk professionals. She is a strong advocate for collaboration and inclusivity in fraud prevention and the broader tech industry.

Ziv Freund joined Elbit Systems - EW & SIGINIT - Elisra in 2002 as an Algorithm Engineer in the field of computer vision. Ziv led Elisra's Computer Vision R&D group from 2012 to 2017. As of 2017, Ziv has been leading Elisra's AI R&D group, which focuses on applying artificial intelligence to different problems in signal processing, such as radar, communication and acoustic signals.

Ziv holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration from Tel Aviv University.

Inbal Talgam-Cohen is a faculty member at the School of Computer Science, Tel Aviv University, and a visiting faculty member at the Computer Science Department, Technion -- Israel Institute of Technology. Her interdisciplinary work spans computer science, economics and operations research. She received her PhD in computer science from Stanford University (2016, advised by Tim Roughgarden), and her MSc from the Weizmann Institute (advised by Uri Feige), followed by an EU Marie Curie post-doctoral fellowship. Inbal's recognitions include the Krill Prize, Google Research Award, Taub Fellowship, and Best Doctoral Dissertation Award from ACM SIGecom. She also holds a law LLB and served as judicial clerk to Hon. Supreme Court Justice Esther Hayut.

Shiran Mlamdovsky Somech is an entrepreneur specializing in the integration of Generative AI within the realms of social impact, along with cross-sector collaborations, in ethical and responsible way.

Shiran has led various projects aimed at promoting and raising awareness of social issues such as violence against women, education, democracy, and Holocaust commemoration, in collaboration with Meta, Microsoft, March of the Living, and more.

Since October 7th, she has also been advocating for the release of hostages by responsibly applying GenAI and actively promoting the use of GenAI for combating hate, ignorance, and antisemitism. Some of these projects have won international awards and have been presented at esteemed institutions like the UN, NATO, and UN Women.

Today, she is the founder of Generative AI for Good, and collaborates with tech companies, corporations, NGOs and international organizations. In the era where AI is reshaping society, Shiran is committed to harnessing the power of technology to effect positive social change.

Shiran holds an EMBA from the esteemed Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Dr. Shlomit Wagman is the Chief Regulatory Compliance Officer at Rapyd, a global payment unicorn, and a fellow at Harvard.

She served as the Chair of the Israel Money Laundering and Terror Financing Prohibition Authority, Chair of the FATF’s Operational Working Group, and acting Chair of the Israel Privacy Protection Authority.

She earned an LL.M. and J.S.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A. from Hebrew University.

She is a renowned expert on money laundering, terrorism financing, fintech, AI, crypto, cybercrime, and more. Among other achievements, she led the successful accession of Israel as a member at FATF, and regulatory reforms on financial regulation and crypto.

She has testified before the US Senate, the Israeli parliament, and numerous elite universities.

She is the co-editor of a book on cybercrime (NYU Press) and has been ranked among the top leaders in the Israeli economy multiple times in recent years.

Yorai Fainmesser is a retired Colonel with 24 years of service at 8200, Intelligence Corps, Cyber R&D and Operations. Head of 3060, AI Technological R&D unit, Responsible for developing Data Science systems and applications.
